What exactly is an FFL and do I have to deal with them?
A Federal Firearms Licensee is a licensed dealer who legally receives your firearm on your behalf — federal law requires this for all transfers. You don't have to find one, call one, or coordinate with one. We handle every part of that process. By the time you hear from us about your dealer, everything is already arranged.
What is the transfer fee and how much is it?
The transfer fee is a charge from the local FFL dealer for receiving and processing your firearm. It typically ranges from $20–$50 depending on the dealer. We confirm the exact fee before we finalize your dealer — so you'll know the number before you ever walk in.
What do I need to bring to pick up my rifle?
Your valid government-issued photo ID — the same one that matches the address on your order. The dealer will have you fill out a Form 4473, which is a standard federal background check form. We send you a plain-language explanation of what's on it before you arrive. No surprises.
Is this legal in my state?
We ship to all states where our products are legally permitted. If your state has specific requirements — such as magazine capacity restrictions — we make the necessary adjustments to your order and tell you exactly what changed and why. Legal compliance is our responsibility, not yours to figure out.
The optic is already zeroed — what does that mean?
Zeroing means the optic has been calibrated so that where the dot appears in the sight is where the bullet will hit at a set distance. Your SIG Romeo-MSR Gen II arrives zeroed from the factory — meaning you don't need to do this yourself before using the rifle safely and effectively.
What happens after I pick up my rifle?
You'll receive a Day 1 email with safe storage basics and a walkthrough of everything in your case. We follow up at Day 7 to make sure your pickup experience went smoothly. And again at Day 30 just to check in. We don't disappear after the sale.
Everything included. Everything handled. You just have to be ready.
